A little back story: we crate the dogs during the day. They both pee A LOT and we don't have time to make trips home to let them out (Bella because she eats food designed to make her pee to flush her bladder and Buzz because his sugar is usually so high that he drinks like a fish to flush the bad stuff that accumulates with diabetes).
Not only did Bella find a way out of her crate, but she shut the door as not to grab our attention that she got out! As if the fact that she was in the kitchen and not in the crate wouldn't clue us in... Apparently she doesn't think we are all that smart. Haha.
She was so tired when we got home that we were left wondering if she went to a Cubs game or appeared on a parade float (did you get the movie reference - read the title of the post for another clue)! :)
On a sidenote - I hope you like my new format! I made that banner and am very proud of it! :)
You should check the cars to see if she rolled back the odometers.

ReplyDeleteIt's cute when our dogs think they can outsmart us. Aschiuta chews on the table legs, but when I look at her, she pretends it's not her. When I look away, she starts again.
That is such a cute story - I love that she thought she'd fool you by shutting the crate door.
